“Figuratively Speaking”

April 29th - May 18th

The power of form in a tour de force of three masters of the genre, Dan Beck, Kevin Beilfuss and Bryce Cameron Liston.  They so beautifully illumine each other in their depth of talent and harmony of spirit. More than impeccable technique, color sense or composition...you feel you know the face or remember a story through their eyes.  As Dan Beck says:, “in all my figurative work, I am looking for strong design to enhance the storytelling...drawn toward that which has a timeless feel to it”.   Figuratively speaking, not a show to miss this year.

”Women artists have traditionally been under valued in the art market, except when tied to their more famous male counterparts by style or connection (Kahlo, Morisot, or Cassatt). Although intriguing women through the ages have been the ones to nurture art and culture from its beginning. Rocking the cradle in appreciation of beauty; sustaining culture's better moments. Hooray that highly regarded women artists are seeing their prices now rise, considered the last great under appreciated segment of investment art. So grateful for this fine group of women artists and the opportunity

to show them at RS Hanna Gallery " ~ R.S. “Shannon” Hanna
